Are the input and output contacts of the CMS‑10R potential‑free?

The inputs and outputs of the CMS‑10R are designed differently.

The inputs are not potential‑free.
They must be operated with the same potential used to supply the device itself. A separate or isolated power supply for the inputs is therefore not supported.

The outputs are potential‑free.
They are implemented as changeover contacts that can be used independently of the device supply voltage. This allows external loads or control signals to be connected flexibly.
