ComatReleco is a leading global supplier of high quality relays and contactors of all types. Our research and development team is headquartered in Switzerland and has access to additional qualified staff in our subsidiaries in Germany and China. Customer focus and quality management
ComatReleco has a group-wide quality management system with real-time access to test and inspection protocols. Our relays and contactors are 100% tested at the end of the production line. On arrival of the goods at our central warehouse in Switzerland, a further quality test is carried out.

The warehouse and logistics are centralised at the headquarters in Switzerland. Production is diversified and optimised in terms of quality, cost and logistics criteria. Our production sites are located in Europe and Asia. Through our network of distribution partners, the Group is present on all world markets. Alexandre El Soda
CEO and member of the Board of Directors, born 1972, Swiss citizen. After graduating as an industrial and production engineer from ETH Zurich in 1997, Alexandre El Soda began his professional career in supply chain management at Scintilla Bosch AG. He then worked for over 5 years as a senior consultant for Hayek Engineering, a consulting company of the Swatch Group. In 2006, he completed a part-time MBA in General Management and Corporate Finance at the University of Rochester - William E. Simon Graduate School of Business Administration. He then headed the Production and Engineering department at Vifor SA, a Swiss pharmaceutical company, for over 6 years. in 2014 he moved to ComatReleco AG.
Daniel Herren
CSO, born 1963, Swiss citizen, electrical engineer with a master's degree in marketing and business administration. He started his professional career in the field of planning and project management of industrial buildings. At WIFAG, a leading manufacturer of newspaper printing presses in the 1980s, he first took on management functions in assembly and commissioning, followed by functions in international sales. in 1995, he moved to the WAGO Group, where his last position was Marketing and Sales Manager Switzerland. in 2010, he became a partner at Friap Feuron AG, a privately held, family-owned company in the field of building technology, which was sold to Walter Meier AG at the end of 2014.
Sebastian Dorthe
CTO, born 1974, Swiss citizen. After graduating from the HEIG engineering school in Yverdon with a degree in electrical engineering, Sebastian Dorthe started as a development engineer at Charmilles Technologies AG (Geneva). After further training in the USA in the field of power packaging and cooling of power semiconductors, Sebastian Dorthe moved in 2004 to HaslerRail AG (Berne), which is active in the transport segment. There he was responsible for setting up the hardware development department. In 2007, Sebastian Dorthe successfully completed his MBA in business management. in 2014, he completed the "Driving Strategic Innovation" course at MIT Sloan and was subsequently promoted to "Innovation and Platform Manager" by HaslerRail. He has been working at ComatReleco AG since April 2017.
Sarah Aull
CPO, born 1985, German citizen, PhD in physics. Her academic career began with a degree in physics from Humboldt University in Berlin, with a stint at the Helmholtz-Zentrum Berlin. In 2011, she moved to CERN in Geneva, where she conducted research on superconducting materials for particle accelerators.
In 2018, she transitioned to the industry sector by joining Comet AG, a Swiss technology company and supplier to the semiconductor industry. At Comet AG, she quickly took on responsibility and led the Vacuum Capacitor Development from 2020 to early 2024. After completing further training in product management at the ZHAW in 2024, she extended her expertise and took over the responsibility for the global product management for vacuum capacitors. In January 2025, she joined ComatReleco AG.
Daniel Apostol
VP Sales International, born 1974, German citizen, Diploma in Electrical Engineering at the UAW Landshut. He started his career in Munich at Analog Devices as DSP Field Application Engineer in 2000 before working as Senior Engineering Consultant at Berata GmbH (now Capgemini Engineering) in the automotive industry around BMW. in 2007 he emigrated to Switzerland and worked for 2 years as Product Manager for semiconductor sensors at Steinel Solutions AG. In 2009 he moved to Xtralis-Honeywell as Product Manager for Security and Traffic Detectors and later as Sales Manager Security for Eastern Europe and Traffic worldwide. In January 2024 he joined ComatReleco.
Yasyn Said
Head Of Quality, born in 1989. Yasyn Said started his career at ERAMET Group in metallurgy for aviation market as Supplier Quality Engineer. In 2014, he moved to automotive industry at GMD Group as Product Quality Engineer for Al-casted and machined parts for transmission systems. After several years working in the automotive industry, he moved to combustion engine manufacturing by joining Liebherr Group as Q- Department Leader for combustion engine. During these experiences, he developed strong skills in problem solving as Shainin & QRQC Methodologies, Operational excellence, Audit, and Q-core tools. Said Yasyn has master’s degree in Physic & Engineering combined to QSE Management.
Josua Ambrosi
Product Manager, born 1972, Swiss citizen. Josua Ambrosi completed his electrical engineering TS at the IBZ in Bern in 2001 and his postgraduate degree in business administration at the TEKO in Bern in 2009. He began his career as an electrical fitter at the former Deisswil cardboard factory. His further career path took him to Kraft Foods Schweiz AG (later Mondelez Schweiz GmbH). He worked for 9 years as a project and department manager in the industrial areas of maintenance, automation and electrical engineering. in 2006, he moved to Siemens Schweiz AG as a project and team leader and was responsible for customer service in the area of security systems and was active in the Swiss Association of Security System Installers (SES). He has been Product Manager at ComatReleco since September 2019.
Natascha Henzer
Head of Sales Administration, born 1977, foreign trade specialist. After completing an administrative apprenticeship, she began her professional career in 1998 as a sales administrator at ComatReleco AG. She completed various further training courses in marketing, accounting and foreign trade and in 2008 decided to take on a new challenge at Raymed Imaging as a dispatching/project officer and was responsible for project work in connection with X-ray installations in French-speaking Switzerland and Ticino. In 2009, she returned to ComatReleco AG, where she works in export and accounting, among other things.
Nadine Geissbühler
Supply Chain and Finance Manager, born in 1995, purchasing specialist with a federal certificate. She began her apprenticeship as a commercial clerk at ComatReleco AG in 2011. After graduating, she worked in various departments at the company, but then focussed on purchasing and completed the professional examination to become a purchasing specialist in 2017. From 2018 to 2019, she worked as a buyer at ALBIRO AG for a year before returning to ComatReleco AG in spring 2019. Since January 2023, she has been responsible for Operational Procurement & Finance.
Tianbao Zong
Vice President Engineering Operation Manager, born 1979, in Tianjin, China. Completed his course of studies in machine engineering and automation technology at the University of Jiangsu, Zhenjiang, China. After gaining his diploma, Tianbao Zong worked as a machine and process engineer at Toyota Gosei. He joined Comat Tianjin in 2007.

Helene Schmid-Obrist
Born 1963, member of the Board of Directors at ComatReleco AG since 2011. Helene Schmid-Obrist initially studied to be a teacher for intermediate grades, then went on to complete a degree as a nutritionist in TCM. In 2003 she trained to become a systematic and integrative marriage councillor and family therapist at the Institute M. Kennessey, Zurich. In 2010 she completed her Master of Advanced Studies ZFH in Coaching and Supervision in organisations at the ZhAW. She supports both private and business customers with a process-orientated approach. The consultation and the approach are based on the strengths of the person seeking advice, to put them in a position to develop and form their path independently with the aid of support. Helene Schmid-Obrist a member of the professional association coaching, supervision and organisation consulting BSO, member of the organisation consulting and coaching SVIPP, member of the Swiss association for integrative psychology and pedagogics ZG-TCM and also a member of the Zurich association for Traditional Chinese Medicine.

Code of Conduct
ComatReleco is an internationally active company with subsidiaries, customers, sales partners, cooperations and suppliers in various countries. The constant change, the diverse tasks and the increasing cross-divisional and cross-national activities make it increasingly important for individual employees to see their work in an overall context. This Code of Conduct essentially describes the diverse social, political and legal framework conditions and is the basis of our behaviour and actions of our group of companies towards employees, business partners and authorities. The code applies to all parts of the company and subsidiaries of ComatReleco.
1. Compliance with applicable law
ComatReleco and its employees undertake to comply with the laws and regulations of the countries in which they operate. The cultural framework conditions of the countries are to be observed and respected at all times. In internal and external meetings we treat each other with respect and show our willingness to learn and act flexibly beyond our own borders and cultural background.
2. Working conditions
Compliance with all local labour and social laws is a matter of course for ComatReleco. The requirement for fair working conditions excludes any form of discrimination against employees and business partners on the basis of their gender, skin colour, religion, origin, nationality, age, marital status, sexual orientation, political affiliation and disabilities. Violence in the workplace, including threats, intimidation, bullying and any form of sexual harassment are not tolerated.
3. Health, safety and environment
It is the declared aim of ComatReleco to provide safe working conditions for every employee. They comply with the laws and regulations. Each employee shares responsibility for safety. All activities are carried out in compliance with the laws and regulations applicable to environmental protection.
4. Child labour
ComatReleco rejects child labour. This also applies to all business partners and suppliers. The respective national laws must be observed for the minimum age of employees.
5. Bribery and corruption
In connection with business activities of any kind, no employee may procure improper advantages for business partners, their employees and relatives. Corruption and frequently associated offences such as tax evasion, fraud and forgery of documents are not tolerated in our company. Exceptions are the giving of promotional gifts of low value, as well as business invitations to lunch or dinner within reasonable limits. Employees are subject to the same regulation. The receipt of lavish gifts is prohibited without prior approval from a supervisor.
6. Quality
Ensuring the highest quality and continuous improvement are the foundations of our business success. Our products comply with the applicable technical standards and regulations. The data sheets are correct and truthfully reflect the technical data of the products. Other or additional technical information is based on actual measured and documented values. Data and test results shall be documented unaltered. Approvals, certificates or attestations shall be reproduced correctly.
7. Protection of data and intellectual property
Respect for the personality of our employees includes the protection of personal employee data. In return, we demand that company and business secrets be treated with appropriate confidentiality and not passed on to third parties. Customer data must also be treated as confidential. Client documents entrusted to us must be protected with care and may only be used in connection with the immediate professional task or passed on with the client's consent.
8. Communication (media)
The disclosure of business, client and personnel information to the outside world, in particular to the media, must be authorised in advance by the management. This regulation applies regardless of whether this information can be interpreted positively or negatively for the company.
9. Antitrust
ComatReleco conducts its business in compliance with and in recognition of the laws governing free competition. No price fixing or boycott agreements or any other agreements restricting free competition may be made with competitors.
10. Internet and e-mail
Access to the Internet is for business purposes only. Downloading and installing software from the Internet is not permitted. Access to content with offensive, extreme or indecent content is explicitly prohibited. E-mails are reserved for business purposes. The distribution of viruses to our business partners must be prevented. Messages from unknown senders, especially those with attachments, must therefore be handled with great care.
11. Handling and implementation
This Code of Conduct forms an important part of our corporate culture. The listed guidelines are binding and apply to all ComatReleco employees worldwide. Employees are obliged to immediately report any violations of the Code of Conduct to the management of ComatReleco.
