According to recent publications, the number of cyberattacks on industrial automation systems has increased rapidly. Unitronics and ComatReleco strongly recommend avoiding the use of unauthenticated port forwarding methods and using the VPN function embedded in the network router or UniCloud for secure remote access.
During the recent scan on https://www.shodan.iofor the devices manufactured by Unitronics, we found that a large number still use port forwarding and are therefore exposed to potential attackers.
To minimise risk and increase the cyber protection of automation projects and machines, we recommend following the key tools in the documents for the Samba and Vision series and UniStream.
We strongly recommend that you check the remote access method and change it if necessary.
