It is with great pleasure that I am responsible for the lead article in the autumn issue. The end of summer also brought with it the first presence trade fair in almost two years. A highly motivated team at our stand at the Sindex in Bern took the opportunity to welcome many visitors. It was a pleasure to exchange ideas with those who are most important to us, namely YOU, our customers.
This enabled us to learn about your needs and future challenges and to introduce you to some new products and solutions. Those of you who attend trade fairs more often will have noticed that the layout was very different to our usual design this time. There were far fewer products and more space for dialogue. The world we live in is constantly evolving. The product is less and less at the centre of the discussion. Instead, the solution that we can offer our customers is taking centre stage. Let's take the CMS-10R as an example. This intelligent and networked product enables you to open a garage door, but also informs you if the pH value in an ARA is too high and initiates appropriate measures. We prioritise this type of replacement and this approach. Our products serve as a solution to an existing problem, and this also applies to a "simple" base for electromechanical relays. Our new relay base with push-in spring connection saves a lot of space in the switch cabinet and provides a solution to a common problem. The areas for personal exchange allow us to understand your needs and explain how we can (or cannot) fulfil them with our technologies. I hope you enjoy reading this report.
