MTIJ is the only comprehensive trade fair in Japan that focuses exclusively on railway technology. It brings together around 30,000 trade visitors, including railway companies, infrastructure operators, engineers and technology providers.
MTIJ attracts numerous international exhibitors, including from Switzerland. At the last event in 2023, 23 Swiss companies presented themselves in the SWISS Pavilion, organised by Switzerland Global Enterprise, Swissrail and the Swiss Business Hub Japan. The focus was on innovative solutions in areas such as robotics, solar energy and digitalisation.
Mass-Trans Innovation Japan is a central platform for the exchange of information on modern railway technologies in Asia. It offers companies the opportunity to network internationally, tap into new markets and work together on the future of rail transport.
